Democrat Establishment Chooses Business As Usual–Will You?

by William Skink

Yesterday Tom Perez beat Keith Ellison to lead the DNC further into irrelevancy. For the youngsters still prone to feeling the bern, the message should be loud and clear: fuck off.

To anyone that considers themselves part of the resistance, something else should be clear: you aren’t just fighting Trump. You are also fighting the iron-clad grip of deep pocket control over the Democratic Party. If yesterday’s vote doesn’t make that clear, I don’t know what will.

If you don’t see the fight ahead as a fight that includes the Democratic establishment, you are part of the problem. If the Democratic party is allowed to continue business as usual, opposition will be hopelessly absorbed into the corrupt political apparatus of Democrat controlled opposition.

For those that want to ignore recent history, this is where movements go to die. See the anti-war movement.

The Democratic establishment doesn’t think it has anything to change because its apparatchiks refuse to accept any responsibility for the electoral loss to Trump. This is the direct result of explanatory narratives blaming Putin, the FBI and anything/anyone else they can blame for their abysmal failure.

Jon Tester is one of those Democrats and Mt Cowgirl is a part of the establishment messaging infrastructure that should be dismissed as irrelevant to a viable opposition taking on the true scope of the problem with American politics. To emphasis this point, I offer exhibit A: Senator Tester vs. Ivan Drago:

Time and time again Senator Tester has stood for Montana in the halls of power and called for transparency, for decency, honesty, and fairness in our government.

Montana Senator Jon Tester has called on Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson to launch a full investigation into the Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election.

In a letter to Chairman Johnson, Tester outlined the need for an investigation into Russian President Vladimir Putin, and laid out evidence of the Russian government’s actions to interfere with the election.

“It has been firmly established that Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian government unleashed a pervasive influence campaign in the United States designed to sway our recent election.” Tester wrote. “Only a thorough, transparent investigation will allow the American people to learn exactly what transpired during the 2016 presidential campaign and what changes, if any, are necessary to safeguard our nation’s critical infrastructure from further hacking.”

This is where the corrupt Democratic establishment wants you to look, at Russia, not at the substance of the email disclosures which exposed pay-to-play corruption and media collusion by the Clinton machine, which is the real reason Hillary Clinton lost.

Jon Tester is part of the problem, but will the resistance see Tester as part of the problem, or will they continue to marginalize anyone that diverges from the maniacal focus on stopping Trump by any means necessary?

Democrats have chosen to continue business as usual. The resistance doesn’t have to make the same choice.

I found this comment to be particularly relevant at the CG post:

Maybe we should be investigating the CIA’s espionage targeting of the 2012 French elections. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander… right?

CIA espionage orders for the last French presidential election

All major French political parties were targeted for infiltration by the CIA’s human (“HUMINT”) and electronic (“SIGINT”) spies in the seven months leading up to France’s 2012 presidential election. The revelations are contained within three CIA tasking orders published today by WikiLeaks as context for its forth coming CIA Vault 7 series. Named specifically as targets are the French Socialist Party (PS), the National Front (FN) and Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) together with current President Francois Hollande, then President Nicolas Sarkozy, current round one presidential front runner Marine Le Pen, and former presidential candidates Martine Aubry and Dominique Strauss-Khan.”

Or because the information comes from a known Hillary hater, it doesn’t deserve the light of day???

The level of hypocrisy among those who keep banging the cold war/nuclear arms race drum is amazing. And they are dragging the propagandized “libruls” along for the ride, fueled by neo-McCarthite hatred of Russia and any who would propose we create foreign policy towards them based on shared interests, and understanding they have major national interests on their own borders where NATO is massing.

Since November election, it’s all about purple. Trump and the Clintons = royalty/ purple reign, purple revolution — the merger of blue and red. Super Bowl half-time show. On and on… gradual indoctrination and the elite’s favorite blood sport: boiling frogs.

The purple pill allows you to reorder and augment the subconscious mind with any false memory or illusionary experience imaginable no matter how fictional. Three cheers for the purple pill people.

Here’s how Perez treated Bernie Sanders.

    The Plot Against Bernie
This is a good time to remember how Perez wanted to label Bernie Sanders a racist. Perez and the DNC worked together to undermine Bernie Sanders.

In the Podesta files, email 4429, Tom Perez wrote to John Podesta, to tell Clinton campaign staff that they should use racial identity as a wedge issue in the Democrat primary and “put and fork once and for all in the false narrative about Bernie and Latinos”.

Perez stated that because Clinton’s “plan to attract all minority voters” worked in Nevada, they could use that to change the current narrative that Bernie does does great with young voters.

Since Perez appointed Ellison to be his Second-in-Command, will we see real power-sharing, or was the fix in all along, giving the illusion of a contest, and the status-quo still ruling?

  5. steve kelly says:

Still ruling… since The Council of Trent (1545-1563), or since the end of The 30 Years War (1618-1648) — take your pick.

I Demexited, angrily and publicly, after the Democratic convention. But I still got invited to the upcoming Metcalf-Mansfield Dinner where Cory Booker will be the main speaker. They actually expect me to pay $60 to attend. Ha!

    • Eric says:

That’s interesting – not in the fact that they want you to buy a ticket for some cold Salisbury steak, but that they think Cory Booker could be the next Obama? Is the Dem bench that thin?

      • Steve W says:

Nationally, we lost by 18 votes. That’s not that many, considering the substantial gains we Berniecrats made in State’s which have done their party reorganizing like CA, WA, and OR. We expect that to continue as other states reorganize according to their own calendars.

It’s true that a majority (230 to 200) of the DNC are in denial and would rather go back to the last Administration and live in the past, as least as much as possible. They still haven’t figured out what happened obviously. But the majority of the party isn’t under such illusions. The rank and file are out front.

  7. Big Swede says:

    How do you define irony?

How ’bout when you vote for the leader of the DNC and you require a photo ID along with a paper ballot.

“We have to make sure that we can not just count the ballots but verify every name and signature,” Brazile said as party members began applauding. “And I want to make sure that at the conclusion of all of our votes, that you, the members of this party, will be able to review those ballots.”
